A Lifetime of Crafting and Creativity
An Artist of Color, Texture, and Tradition.
A Journey Stitched with Love
From a young age, my hands have been familiar with the touch of fabric and thread. My earliest memories of crafting go back to sitting beside my mother, learning to sew and knit as we created clothes for my dolls and me. What began as a simple activity shared between mother and daughter grew into a lifelong passion for transforming fabric into art.
As I grew, so did my skills and my love for working with textiles. I went on to study Home Economics and Interior Design, immersing myself in the world of color theory, design, and craftsmanship. My professional journey took me through teaching and even earning a PhD in Environmental Design Analysis. Yet, it was the quiet, patient art of quilting that called me back, offering a space to combine my love for color, pattern, and texture in a way that no other medium could.
A Passion That Overcomes Every Challenge
After moving to New England with my husband, I came across a craft fair at a local organic farm. With some encouragement, I displayed my quilts for the first time—and to my surprise, sold every piece I’d brought. That day marked the beginning of my journey as a fiber artist. Despite vision challenges, my dedication to quality and love for quilting come through in every stitch. My creations show that passion and skill can overcome any limitation, bringing warmth and joy to each home.
Every quilt I make is a labor of love, hand-quilted from high-quality cotton fabric, batting, and thread. I value the beauty of simplicity and the elegance of intricate design, creating pieces that may seem simple yet reveal their complexity up close. Each quilt tells a story of dedication, resilience, and the joy of handmade artistry.
